Sliding and patio door installation in San Antonio

A sliding door only glides if the sill is dead level and the frame is square. Oleksander installs two-panel, three-panel and large multi-slide glass doors on new builds and replacements.

Oleksander is Ukrainian and speaks limited English. His partner Dimitri handles calls, quotes and scheduling in English, so nothing gets lost in translation.

What's included

  • Removing the old slider, including the track and frame
  • Leveling and sealing the sill so water drains out, not in
  • Setting and shimming the frame square for smooth sliding
  • Adjusting the rollers, latch and lock
  • Insulation and sealant around the frame
  • Interior trim and exterior caulk

Signs it's time to replace

  • The door drags, jumps the track or needs two hands to open
  • Fogging between the glass panes
  • Water on the floor after a storm
  • Bent or worn track that new rollers don't fix
  • Old single-pane glass letting heat in

From one slider to a wall of glass

Oleksander has installed large multi-panel sliding systems on new homes, including four-panel walls opening onto covered patios. The same care goes into a standard 6-foot replacement slider.

If your slider only drags, it may just need new rollers and an adjustment. That's a repair, not a replacement, and you'll be told honestly which one you need.

Common questions

Should I repair or replace my sliding door?

If the glass is clear and the frame is solid, new rollers and an adjustment often fix it. If the glass is fogged, the frame is bent, or water gets in, replacement is usually the better value.

Can you replace a slider with French doors?

Often yes, if the opening size works. Send photos and measurements and Oleksander will check.

How long does a patio door install take?

A standard replacement usually takes about a day. Large multi-panel systems take longer, depending on the opening.

Tell us about your door.

Send a few photos and the size of the opening. You'll get a clear price for the labor before any work starts.
